Error description

  • Description:

QCI is unable to handle page break up when we synch text
    attributes from DOORS to QC

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Enter object text in DOORS module in the below format -
    Test1
    Test2
    Test3

    2. Create a Text attribute in the DOORS module and assign the
value as in the above format.

    3. In QCI map the 'Object Text' to the 'Comments' field (or any
other field of type 'Memo') and create a counterpart for the
attribute created in DOORS in step 2.

    4. Run the synchronization task.

    5. In QC the Comments and the attribute field would consist of
    values in the format -
Test1Test2Test3 (please see the attached screenshot)

i.e the Line Breaks are lost in QC after synchronization.

Note: There is no limitation to write multiple lines in QC
attribute directly. You can also copy multiple lines from Text
editors to AML 11 fields directly.
