• Headline:
  Bug with Advanced Search and Replace option in Rhapsody
  
  
  APAR Error Description:
  Attempts to replace the Type of a data element results in a
  complete failure.
  
  
  Problem:
  The advanced search and replace option does not seem to work for
  some elements. In this case, Rhapsody claims to successfully
  replace the type of a data element. However, there are no
  changes made and it sure does misguide the users.
  
  
  Steps to Reproduce:
  
  a) Open the attached project.
  b) Try replacing the type 't_Cmd' with type name 't_Voltage'
  c) Rhapsody gives a confirmation that the Replace is successful
  d) Open the data element and check the type
  e) No changes have been made
  
  A video recording depicting the above steps has been attached
  too.
  
  
  Local fix:
  Manually change the type of the data element.
