Error description
Cursor shows 'hour glass' or 'working' indicator when exporting Module to HTML or Spreadsheet to location that doesn't exist. Steps to reproduce: ----------------------- 1. Open any Formal Module. 2. Select File?Export?HTML or Spreadsheet 3. Specify the path to a folder which does not exist. 4. Click Export. You will get the following message and the cursor stays hour-glass: =============================================== CRCRD6193E: Icon copy failed: Copy file failed to copy C:\Program Files\IBM\Rational\DOORS\9.3\lib\html\bullet.gif to C:\Temp_1\bullet.gif 'The system cannot find the path specified' =============================================== At this stage the cursor is still showing an hour glass OR working symbol. This behavior of DOORS is confusing to the end users as they keep waiting thinking that DOORS is still processing some information. Once you click OK, the cursor changes back to normal. Note: Trying to export to any of the other formats : Plain Text or Rich Text Format or FrameMaker with a path to a folder which doesn't exist doesn't make the Cursor to stay in a hour glass or working symbol.
