Error description

  • Rational Developer for System z - RDz - v8.5
The LPEX editor displays a x'6F' value for x'0D', x'15' and
    x'25'.
Whereas the same file opened with the Cobol editor correctly
displays the x'0D', the x'25' and the x'15'.
    Steps to reproduce :
    1. In a TSO ISPF session, open a file in hex mode.
    2. Type a x'0D', a x'15' and a x'25' characters.
    3. Then, in RDz 8.5, open this file with the Cobol editor-?Hex
    editing.
The x'0d', x'15' and x'25' are displayed correctly.
    4. Close this file. Open it this time with the LPEX editor.
    5. select the line with the special characters, right click and
select Source-?Hex edit line. The value of the x'0d', x'25'
and the x'15' have been changed to a x'6F'.
