PM72491: Rational Developer for System z (RDz) CARMA Endevor Systems name field not refreshed in pulldown of Add element

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In Rational Developer for System z (RDz) v8.0.3.2
  when trying to Add an element after changing the Environment
  field the System name field is not updated.  The user has to
  manually enter the correct System name after changing the
  Environment name field.
  
  Recreation Steps:
  From RDz Remote Systems view,  extract an element from one
  system, then do an ADD element, and change the Environment name
  field.  The Systems dropdown list is not updated with the
  systems available in the selected Environment.

  Users who wish to add an element to the Endevor SCM and change
  the Environment parameter when presented with the Add Element
  dialog.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  If the user change the Environment parameter on the Endevor Add
  Element dialog, the System parameter choices are not changed to
  reflect the new environment.
  
  The workaround is to manually type the proper system name into
  the input field.

  Problem Resolution:
  Logic has been modified so that the System parameter is notified
  when the Environment parameter changes and the choices for the
  System parameter are updated.
