PM71091: Switching Views in DOORS does not bring the focus back to the first column.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Switching Views in DOORS does not bring the focus back to the
  first column.
  
  Issue seen in 9.3.0.X, 9.4 and also in 8.2.
  
  Steps to reproduce:
  =============
  A DOORS Client installed on English locale machine, with Left to
  Right orientation is being considered:
  1. Open a module and add a few columns (more than 8-9)
  2. Save this as a new view
  3. Scroll to the extreme right so you can see the last column
  4. Now switch to some other view which has 3-4 columns (say
  standard view)
  5. You will see only a blank screen
  
  Impact:
  ----------
  This can be confusing to the user and they would like all the
  views to be defaulted to the left hand side when selected so all
  data is displayed.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• User can be left with an empty view if there are less columns in
   a newly selected view.
  

Problem conclusion

• Made the view reset to the left side whenever the view is
  changed,
  

Temporary fix

• There is no workaround for this issue

• This happens in versions of DOORS prior to DOORS 9.5.1.2. This i
  s a client side fix.
