Error description
When checking out a file element in IBM Rational ClearCase Remote Client or ClearTeam Explorer using a hijacked file, the 'Last Modified' time displayed in the web view graphical interface will reflect the mtime of the version that was checked out rather than the mtime of the private hijacked file that was used for the checkout. This occurs whenever the option is select in the client preferences to 'Preserve version creation time when files are updated or loaded from the server' even though in this case neither update nor load occurs. Steps to reproduce the issue: 1) Ensure the option to 'Preserve version creation time when files are updated or loaded from the server' is selected in the client preferences. 2) Load elements from a VOB into a CCRC or CTE web view. Note the 'Last Modified' time reflects the checkin time of the version. 3) Hijack a file element and make a change. Note the 'Last Modified' time changes to reflect the time of the alteration. 4) Checkout the file and elect to use the hijacked content. Note the 'Last Modified' time reverts to the checkin time from the VOB and does not reflect the hijacked change. Workarounds: None known. Changes to the checked out file after the issue occurs, however, will update the 'Last Modified' time accordingly.
