APAR Error Description: Abstract: In Rational Developer for System z (RDz) version 8.5, running xsebatch program may result in PLI converter files generated with incorrect line breaks which will cause compilation errors. Problem: With some specific WSDL files, RDz will generate PLI converter with incorrect line breaks. Opening the generated PLI file in hexadecimal mode will show sequences like: 0D 0D 0A 20 0A instead of 0D 0A. Local fix: PLI file needs to be fixed manually.
The Enterprise Service Tools Batch Processor may generate PL/I Compiled XML Converter files that contain invalid line breaks or line continuation when an assignment statement, data item reference, or data declaration does not fit on a single line.
The Batch Processor has been corrected to generate proper line breaks and line continuation for assignment statements, data item references, and data declarations. Additionally, the typical number of lines occupied by long assignment statements or data item references is now significantly reduced. The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with IBM Rational Developer for System z V8.5.1 Fix Pack which is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=2294&uid=swg27006335
