  I feel that some ClearCase help is needed to address these
  issues - perhaps we need to change the way the libs are linked
  to get this working.
  
  
  
  I put some code in to check the error situation after the dlopen
  fails on libccsumcqint.so - it spits out:

  /opt/rational/clearcase/shlib/libatriasquidcore.so: symbol
  __1cDstdMbasic_string4Ccn0ALchar_traits4Cc__n0AJallocator4Cc___I

  referenced symbol not found
  I have seen things like this before - usually related to weak
  symbols - I don't totally recall how we fixed those - will have
  to do some research.
