APAR status

Error description

  • Rational Developer for z series  LPEX
    When editing a data set with DCB RECFM=VB, LRECL=10004,
    BLKSIZE=27998, DSORG=PS
    then sometimes one or more lines wrongly appears as blanks.
    The data in the invisible line is really there because you can
    do some copy/paste on a portion of it.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • In Windows 7 clients, lines which exceed a length of 1000 do not
    display correctly in System z LPEX or Basic LPEX.
    

Problem conclusion

  • LPEX is updated so that lines are rendered correctly regardless
    of platform or line length.
    
    The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
    IBM Rational Developer for System z V8.0.3.5 Fix Pack which
    is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
