• The DOORS Web Access client time-outs during database
  navigation.

  When a user is navigating the database hierarchy in DOORS
  Web Access and expands a folder then the client needs to
  parse the module level attributes in order to update the UI.
  
  In a certain cases the shape and size of data could cause
  timeouts to occur in the UX.
  

Problem conclusion

• If a module's type system contains a module level attribute
  with a large amount of data (such as 1mb of text) then will
  take time to process.
  
  When a folder is being expanded - and that folder contains
  many of these modules at the same level - then the time
  taken to process the information required to render the
  folder contents may exceed the display timeout.
  
  The documentation will be updated to reflect this limitation
  and to recommened that customers do not use module level
  attributes to store large amounts of data.
