Error description

The following error message is created when a servant is shut
down:
J2CA0132E: Method run caught exception <malformed parameter>.
com.ibm.ejs.j2c.work.WorkScheduler
Documentation appears to say "IBM internal error" but the msg
is confusing to a customer since it looks like something could
be incorrect in the App server operation.

*                      phrase in logs where exception stack    *
*                      is expected.                            *

During server shutdown printing an exception stack may cause an
exception to be thrown in its turn. This case results in
"<malformed parameter>" to be recorded in log file instead of
a stack trace.

Problem conclusion

The fix adds extra robustness to exception stack printing to
report any exception triggered during this process.

APAR PM64393 is currently targeted for inclusion in Fix Packs
7.0.0.25, 8.0.0.5, and 8.5.0.1 of WebSphere Application
Server.
