Error description

• ================
  A Column in list view only shows 259 characters irrespective of
  the width set for list view or column. Ellipsis indicating
  missing text is also missing after 259 Characters.
  
  Steps to Reproduce:
  
  - Run DXL to show a listView contianing more than 259 characters
  - Now resize column so as to view all the characters in the
  first column.
  - Note that a maximum of 259 Characters will be shown
  irrespective of the length of the original text. No ellipsis to
  indicate missing text either.
  
  This also affects DOORS in built windows , Example entire suffix
  is not shown in 'View Baselines' window.

Problem conclusion

• Since MS have accepted this as a limitation of the rich edit
  control, changes have been made in DOORS to show tooltips for
  such items as cannot fit in the available width of the
  list-view's column.
  

Temporary fix

• There is no workaround for this issue
