PM61567: Run Time Error 5941 - Exporting Document with Word AutoShapes

Rational DOORS Fix Pack 2 (9.5.1.2) for 9.5.1

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Run Time Error 5941 is displayed when we try to Export a Word
  Document with Word Autoshapes in them from Word 2010. If these
  Autoshapes are within a Canvas a blank Image is imported in to
  DOORS.

  Steps to reproduce
  ==================
  1. Create a new Word document in Word 2010
  2. Go to Insert-?Shapes
  3. Add one or more shapes
  4. Go to Add-Ins and use 'Export to DOORS' icon to export the
  document to DOORS
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Run Time Error 5941 is displayed when we try to Export a Word
  Document with Word Autoshapes in them from Word 2010. If these

Problem conclusion

• Word Importer Fixed. Client-side fix.
  The code has been changed so that the run time error no
  longer occurs
  This happens in versions of DOORS prior to
  DOORS 9.5.1.2. This is a client side fix.
