Error description

  • Steps to reproduce:

Customer opened module with an RCR. Then made changes to one
object. He added a new object, added another object. Set the
Requirement? attribute (boolean) for the 2nd object added to
true. Saved the module. No problems.

Made a slight wording change to the 2nd new object. Attempted to
send the RCR to review when he got the following error:

    - - - - - - - -
    -R-E- DXL: ?standard/changemgnt/Utils/ecpsutils.inc:6112? An
    unexpected

Problem conclusion

  • Having an attribute name that contains a character that
isn't valid in the filesystem (? in this case) can cause
    errors in some circumstances.
