  • Indenting is wrong.  Right-click anywhere in the text.  Click
    Source.  Click Format.
    Lines such as
    01 IW-TEMPO PIC S9(04)V9(04) SIGN LEADING SEPARATE.
    01 IW-TEMPOX.
           02 IW-TEMPO2 PIC S9(03) COMP-3.
    Are wrongly formated as
    01 IW-TEMPO PIC S9(04)V9(04) SIGN LEADING SEPARATE.
                           01 IW-TEMPOX.
                            02 IW-TEMPO2 PIC S9(03) COMP-3.
    Notice the above two lines are pushed much too far to the right
    from column 8 to column 22.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The presence of COPY statements in a COBOL File can cause the
    COBOL Formatter's Indentation routine to improperly indent a
    COBOL file.
