Error description

  • While trying to submit a Implementation Request in a DOORS
module configured with DOORS-RTC Integration, the cancel button
in the pop up window does not work as expected. Clicking on it
will still leave a blank window which needs to be closed again.

This seems to occur as the pop up window has two windows on each
other hence related to APAR PM54701.

     steps to reproduce.
    1. Open DOORS module
    2. From DOORS object, submit Implementation Request.
    3. When IR from is displayed, simply click Cancel button on
    the bottom of the interface.

Problem conclusion

  • DOORS wasn't properly detecting when RTC or ClearQuest users
clicked on the cancel button since the page being displayed
was really coming from RTC or ClearQuest. Added some
checking to see if the HTML page was set to blank and fully
loaded which indicates the user has cancelled and closed the
    dialog box in that case.
