Error description

  • APAR Error Description:
    Abstract: In IBM Rational Developer for System Z (RDz) version
    8.0.3, attempts to refresh a local COBOL project when files have
    been added from outside RDz result in no change and files are
    still not visible within the project on the z/OS Projects view
    Problem: To reproduce the problem:
    
    1- create a new local COBOL project from menu New ? Project ?
    Examples ? Workstation COBOL ? COBOL Sample
    2- add a new file to folder cobol from outside RDz (for example
    using the Microsoft Windows Explorer).
    3- In RDz, try to refresh the folder or project using key F5 or
    context menu refresh: nothing happens and file added is not
    visible.
    
    
    Local fix:
    Close and reopen the z/OS Projects view
