Error description

  • Problem
tdsclientkey.kdb cannot be removed from its original location

    To Reproduce
    - point to a new certdb folder using 'certdb' parameter which
holds either the original or self-created certifcate
    tdsclientkey.kdb

    Expected Results
    - as we do support the modification of the location for the
client certificates it should be possible to remove the
    certificate from its original location

    Actual Results
If the file tdsclientkey.kdb is removed from 'C:\Program
Files\IBM\Rational\DOORS\9.3\certdb' as soon as you start the
DOORS client, it will repair the installation and would add the
    tdsclientkey.kdb file again.

    Possible Workarounds
don't remove the file from its original location

    Additional Notes
If you have created your own self signed certificates and placed
them into a custom folder then you still need an
tdsclientkey.kdb file within the original location. It doesn't
has to be the new certifcate any will do.
