In SJ and job output, JMON replaces nonprinting control
characters with blanks. For SJ, the user is allowed to resubmit
the JCL and no warning is given that characters have been
    substituted.

Problem conclusion

  • JMON no longer replaces roundtrippable control characters. When
characters that cannot roundtrip (hex 0D, 15, and 25) are
present, a message is displayed, and submit is disabled.
