PM37212: DOORS/RTC integration- DOORS displays garbled RTC Japanese project name

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When integrated DOORS/RTC products, you will need to add RTC
  project from DOORS ? Remote Service section. In the Remote
  Service section, open Add Services Link Type. RTC Projects name
  which is in Japanese is garbled and unable to read the project
  name.
  
  Even if you ignore the garbled character and added the service
  link, when you go to Configuration Template ? Setep1 Configure
  Rational Change Management Service, DOORS returns ?You must set
  your template name and CM Tool first? error.
  
  Hence, client is unable to create integration environment using
  Japanese.

  If a project in RTC contains Japanese characters, when the
  Add Services Link Type dialog is used in the Remote Services
  tab of the database properties, the project name may become
  garbled when listed.
  
  This may apply to other language character sets too.
  

Problem conclusion

• DOORS has been fixed so that the characters are not garbled.
  However, this still requires that the computer is capable of
  displaying the characters, as can be seen by accessing RTC.
