Error description
Problem getSelection() perm doesn't work across non-sibling selections I suspect that this is actually just a case of a partial description in the manual. When using the related setSelection in the same circumstances, a sensible error is given. To Reproduce - create some objects in a hierarchy - using ?Shift? select mutliple objects across a range of the hierarchy - run code such as the following : ' Module CurMod = current Object ONLYONE = current Object START = null Object FINISH = null getSelection(CurMod, START, FINISH) if((! null START) ?? (! null FINISH)) { print START.'Absolute Number' '\n' print FINISH.'Absolute Number' '' } ' Possible Workarounds None
