Error description

  • Empty strings are not taken into account in the XML default
values editor (preferences accessible by gesturing : Window ?
Preferences ? Test ? Service Test ? XML default value).

Indeed, once an empty value is entered and modifications are
applied, if user opens up preferences again, he could see that
default 'str' value was abusively restored.

Empty values should be accepted and persisted in the these
    preferences.
