    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When the JSP 'useThreadTagPool'         *
    *                      attribute is set to true a JSP          *
    *                      compilation error can occur.            *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

     The JSP compilation error occurs when the following are true:
    - JSP 'useThreadTagPool' attribute is true
    - 2 (or more) inner tags are used (of the same type)
    - The inner tag is of type javax.servlet.jsp.tagext.BodyTagSuppo
    - The inner tag uses a variable
    - Outer tag is a custom tag

Problem conclusion

  • The JSP container was modified so there is no longer an error
    when the JSP attribute 'useThreadTagPool' is enabled in this
    scenario.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 7.0.0.17.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
