Error description

  • Problem
When a picture object is copied to another picture object (in
another module) using copyPictureObject(), the updated Picture
Object turns red to show that it has changed. However, if I
click on the 'X' to close the module, there is no message to say
'The module has changed. Do you want to save?' - The module just
closes and loses the changes to the Picture Object.

    To Reproduce
    - create an object with a picture in it
    - save module
    - select the object and run the following script:

    Object o=current
    Object t=previous o
    copyPictureObject (o,t)

    - close the DXL window
    - close the module window using the top right hand 'X'

You are not prompted to save your changes

    Possible Workarounds
edit the script to save the module

Problem conclusion

  • The code has been changed so that a message is displayed
prompting the user to save the module, in this scenario
