analysis wizard cannot display module level attributes

Problem conclusion

  • This defect is a documentation defect. The layout DXL code
for analysis wizard was never supposed to show the module
attributes. The label "Module and object attributes:" on
step 3 of the analysis wizard has word "module" included
because the list includes "Module Name" which should be
treated as a special case because it's not actually an
attribute. Although it would be straightforward, displaying
module attributes in the layout DXL columns created by the
analysis wizard won't make any sense because if it showed a
Module attribute, then every linked object in a given module
would display the same value in the traceability column and
the users won't be able to visually distinguish between the
linked objects. So, the code that generates the layout DXL
code for traceability columns purposely leaves out the
    Module-level attributes.
So, the docs should be updated to say this.
The only fix to this defect would be NOT to include any
    module-level attributes (except "Module Name" which's a
special case as told above) in the "Module and object
attributes" list-view in the first place. And this is the
    fix that has been done.
