The portlet container does not correctly process the response

The portlet container does not correctly process the resource
response character set if it is specified as part of the
response content type.
Example: To define the resource response content
type and response character set one may invoke for example,
ResourceResponse.setContentType("text/html; charset=utf-8");
While this is valid according to the Portlet API
specification, the portlet container currently ignores
the charset parameter and does not set the character encoding
accordingly.

Problem conclusion

The portlet container is changed to process the charset
paramater which is contained in the response content type and
set the response character encoding accordingly.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.13.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
