Error description

In the administration console:

Global security > Standalone LDAP registry
Radion selection
Server identity that is stored in the repository

The hover over for the "Server user ID or administrative user on
a Version 6.0.x node" says:

Specifies the user ID that is used to run the application server
for security purposes.  This option does not apply to the z/OS
or i5/OS(TM) platforms
---

The hover over for the password says:

---
Specifies the password that corresponds to the server identity.
This option does not apply to the z/OS(R) or i5/OS(TM) platform.
---

The userid and password are required on z/OS although the hover
over indicates they are not.  The admin console won't let you
proceed without specifying a userid and password.

The hover-text for the Server Identity username & password
text entry boxes incorrectly specify that the values do not
apply for z/OS or i5/OS. These values are required on any
platform for any user registry configuration except for z/OS
SAF, where these text boxes do not exist on the configuration
panel.

Problem conclusion

Corrected the hover-text to remove the statement that the
values do not apply for z/OS or i5/OS.

APAR PM05195 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service
Level (Fix Pack) 7.0.0.13 of WebSphere Application Server V7.0.
