Error description

  • When creating an outbound service under
    Service integration > Buses > bus_name >
      [Services] Outbound Services
    selecting "WSDL Location Type" as UDDI, the error
     "Could not retrieve available UDDI registries"
    is produced in the administrative console.

    Required code in a class called SIBWSOutboundServiceController,
    that populates the UDDI reference objects, had been incorrectly
    removed in WebSphere Application Server Version 7.0.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The fix for this APAR reinstates the missing
    SIBWSOutboundServiceController code, allowing the UDDI
    UDDI reference objects to be populated.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 7.0.0.11. Please refer to the Recommended Updates
