APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• User type not getting saved for user with comman in their
  user logon name.
  
  This happens when the DN of the user in corp ldap has a comma in
  it.
  

Local fix

• Provided a workaroudn of manually populating the value for
  tdsDOORSUserID attribute in RDS using a third party ldap browser
  such as jXplorer. The value for this attribute should be of
  format
  
  databaseID:usertype
  
  for example for database manager the value should be
  
  databaseID:D11111110

Problem conclusion

• IBM Rational Directory Server (RDS) 5.1 fixes this issue and for
  using RDS 5.1, you should also use IBM Rational DOORS 9.2.0.2
