Local fix

  • The password can be reset using jxplorer by removing and
selecting a plain text password.

Problem summary

  • If a user has been migrated from a previous version of Rational
DOORS with a standalone RDS, resetting the password now works.

Problem conclusion

  • The issue is fixed in DOORS 9.2.0.2. This would also need
TDS/RDS to be upgraded to RDS 5.1
