Error description

• Abend S04E RC00C90105 in DSNKINSL:0D44.
  The problem occurs during an index leaf page split and results
  in a broken page because the amount of free space and the free
  space pointer are invalid.

  After applying PK62214 (UK39357) an index page split may cause
  ABEND04E RC00C90105 and/or incorrect values for
  REORGPSEUDODELETES in the real-time statistics (RTS) table
  SYSIBM.SYSINDEXSPACESTATS.
  
  An incorrect calculation in the asymmetric split algorithm
  occurred when customer reverted from DB2 for z/OS Version 9,
  new function mode (NFM) to DB2 for z/OS Version 9, compatibility
  mode* (CM*). A broken index page occurred when a negative free
  space value was determined.
  
  The value for REORGPSEUDODELETES column in real-time statistics
  table SYSIBM.SYSINDEXSPACESTATS is greater than the actual
  number of pseudo-deletes since last REORG, REBUILD, or LOAD
  REPLACE. For every index page split, the REORGPSEUDODELETES
  value was incorrectly increased by +1.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code has been modified to correctly determine the amount of
  space used on the index page and removed incorrect accumulation
  of REORGPSEUDODELETES during the index page split.
