  *                      executing an ALTER TABLE ALTER          *
  *                      PARTITION ENDING AT statement to        *
  *                      modify a partitioning key.              *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply corrective PTF when available.         *

  Users might receive ABEND04E RC00E70005 at location
  DSNXIDDL.DSNXIATB P033 when executing an ALTER TABLE ALTER
  PARTITION ENDING AT statement to modify a partitioning key.
  This problem occurs because Db2 incorrectly issues an ABEND
  instead of a SQLCODE -904 while checking if the table is empty.
  
  The following statements also check for table emptiness and
  might be affected:
  - ALTER TABLE ADD CONSTRAINT
  - CREATE INDEX DEFINE NO to define a non-partitioned index
  - CREATE INDEX on a ROW CHANGE TIMESTAMP column
  - ALTER INDEX ADD COLUMN to include a ROW CHANGE TIMESTAMP
    column
  

Problem conclusion

• Db2 is modified to correctly process SQLCODE -904 errors that
  might occur while checking if a table is empty and return them
  to the user.
