• A LARGE CALCULATED AMOUNT OF MEMORY NEEDED TO RUN REPAIR
  CAN CAUSE THE VARIABLE THAT HOLDS THE CALCULATED AMOUNT
  OF MEMORY NEEDED TO GO NEGATIVE.  THIS CAN THEN CAUSE THE
  RC00E4D5D2 DSNUGSTA +3348 IN REPAIR CATALOG/VERSIONS.

  *                      REPAIR VERSIONS on a segmented table    *
  *                      space with many tables, in this case    *
  *                      more than 2000 tables.                  *

  A REPAIR CATALOG or REPAIR VERSIONS on a segmented table space
  with over 2000 tables failed with an ABEND04E RC00E4D5D2 in
  DSNUGSTA OFFSET3348. A variable used to hold the space value
  for the tables was too small and when the table space has more
  than 484 tables (including dropped tables) a negative length
  value is passed, which may cause the abend.
  

Problem conclusion

• REPAIR utility code is changed to fix the problem.
