PI96299: REFERER HEADER WHEN RUNNING A REPORT VIEW IN CHROME IS HUGE COMPARED TO RUNNING IN INTERNET EXPLORER

Error description

• A report is authored that runs in the classic viewer, and a
  report view is created from that report.  When the report view
  is run in IE, the HTTP request to run the report contains a
  Referer header of the form http://server:port/bi/.  When the
  same report view is run in Chrome the Referer header for that
  request is several thousand characters long.  This can cause
  different error messages depending on the web server used if the
  web server has set limits on the maximum size for an HTTP
  header.
  

Local fix

• Increase the size limit for request headers on your web server,
  or run the report view in Internet Explorer.
