PI92802: IDZ GENERATES EQAUOPTS WITH STRING DBMDT.USERID FOR IMS DEBUG

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• IBM Developer for z Systems - IDz - v14.1 generates an EQAUOPTS
  dataset with string DBMDT.userid instead of DBMDT%userid for
  IMS remote debug application.
  
  DBMDT.userid is not supported by the zDebugger server runtime
  for IMS, see

  1- select menu Run > Debug configurations...
  2- create a new configuration for "Remote IMS application"
  3- on Debug options tab, select "Debug tool compatibility mode"
  4- click "Apply"
  5- EQAUOPTS DD on the host contains a string like:
  <TST>TEST(ALL,,PROMPT,DBMDT.myuser:*)
  

Local fix

• On Debug options tab,
  check "Connect with specific client information" and enter a
  user id.

Problem conclusion

• The TEST option with DBMDT(/DBM).USERID is now get rid of and
  all generated TEST options (include systems with IMS, DB2, CICS)
  will be DBMDT%userid or DBM%userid when debug manager is
  selected.
