Error description

  • IBM Rational Developer for System z - RDz - v9.5.1.6
LPEX Editor wrongly marks in error double quotes inside Bidi
text, for example, in the Working storage section and displays
the "error token" flag when the COBOL Source has sequence number
    from columns 73 to 80.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • COBOL parser incorrectly processes double quotes.

Problem conclusion

  • There is special processing of double quotes for Hebrew.
Therefore they are replaced with apostrophes before sending to
    the parser.
