Error description

• A report is created in Cognos 10 which contains a Search &
  Select prompt.  The prompt is based on a nested query, where the
  parent query contains complex calculations which concatenate
  various columns of different data types, including dates and
  strings.  When the report is upgraded to Cognos Analytics 11.0.7
  and executed, the user receives an error when attempting to
  search in the prompt:

Local fix

• Move the concatenation calculations from the parent query into
  the child query, and base the search & select prompt on the
  child query.
