APAR status

Error description

  • In Rational Developer for z (RDz) v9.5.1.1 iFix1, in a
    sub-project enabled with "Data Access Development Support", the
    SQL Outline view "Projects" (the Source tab) may not display the
    correct list of sub-project members after one or more members
    are added or deleted.
    
    The same problem exists in IDz v14.0.0.5.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • If an SQL statement existed in a file and was removed, this
    would leave a lingering xml file that caused it to show up in
    the SQL Outline View even though it was removed.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Removed all empty xml files that map to the COBOL file and any
    of it's COPY files  Refresh SQL Outline View is called from.
    
    The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
    IBM Rational Developer for z Systems V9.5.1.8 Fix Pack which
    is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
