Error description

• IBM Rational ClearCase builds intermittently hang and D-state
  processes appear. This is happening when a deadlock situation
  occurs due to the parent inode having more than one associated
  dentry.

Problem conclusion

• The ClearCase MVFS filesystem was changed to detect and prevent
  an error condition which caused the occurrence of D-state
  processes.  This is fixed in ClearCase versions 8.0.1.15,
  9.0.0.5, and 9.0.1.1.
