PI84967: RATIONAL DEVELOPER FOR SYSTEM Z (RDZ) : OUTLINE VIEW DOES NOT DISPLAY PROCEDURE SCOPE CORRECTLY WHEN USING "SELECT"
Fixes are available
Closed as program error.
Rational Developer for System z - RDz - v9.5.1 Description : The Outline in RDz sometimes does not display procedure scope correctly. Procedures in the main scope sometimes gets nested in another main scope procedure if that procedure has other local/nested procedures. For example, inside PROC A, customer is calling PROC B using the function (name contains SELECT word). So due to that PROC B is nested under PROCA (which shouldn't happen). When the word SELECT is removed, then PROC A & PROC B appear separately.
Select is set as a hard keyword and treated as such in the outline view logic.
Additional logic added to the Outline view to be able to determine if select keyword is being used as a keyword or if it is a variable. The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with IBM Rational Developer for z Systems V220.127.116.11 Fix Pack which is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=2294&uid=swg27006335
