PI83812: RDZ 184.108.40.206 - USING ENTER STATEMENT IN COBOL SOURCE RESULTS IN REAL TIME SYNTAX ERROR
Fixes are available
Closed as program error.
In Rational Developer for z Systems (RDz) v220.127.116.11, an ENTER statement in a COBOL source results in the real time syntax check error "EJECT expected instead of this input". The COBOL source compiles successfully as the compiler treats ENTER statement as a CONTINUE statement. The same problem exists in IDz 18.104.22.168 as well.
Modify the source line to use CONTINUE statement instead
The RDz COBOL parser does not tolerate ENTER statements.
Modified the COBOL parser to tolerate ENTER statements. The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with IBM Rational Developer for z Systems V22.214.171.124 Fix Pack which is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=2294&uid=swg27006335
