• You have permission to view a component but do not have
  permission to view the component template that the component is
  based on, you may see this problem when deploying a locked
  snapshot after component template change.
  Depending on UrbanCode Deploy version, you may see either
  java.lang.NullPointerException or permission error
  For example,
  Error starting workflow: User 'Username' does not have read
  permission to a ComponentTemplate: {ComponentTemplate Name}
  

Local fix

• Give users who run application processes permission to view
  component templates.
