In RDz 18.104.22.168, comparison between two Endevor elements shows garbage symbols with all the lines that originally containing BIBI language. Scenario: - Enable BIDI development on RDz preferences: - In CARMA Repository extract an element to a project - 'Compare with latest from Endevor' action - Incorrect symbols are displayed in the compare screen result regarding lines with BIDI language.
An unnecessary parameter is checked before making Visual compare available. This parameter is never set.
The unnecessary check is disabled. An only criteria to invoke visual compare is a checkbox in Preferences -> Bidi Development. The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with IBM Rational Developer for z Systems V22.214.171.124 Fix Pack which is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=2294&uid=swg27006335
