PI78827: RATIONAL DEVELOPER FOR SYSTEM Z (RDZ) HANGS, WHEN USING DEBUG TOOL

In RDz v9.0 , RDz debug session may hang. When clicking the terminate button, and the application on the host does not terminate, or the host debug engine does not return a reply, the RDz client is hung and the user must kill the process and restart RDz.
Clicking the terminate button, may result in the workbench hanging when the application on the host does not terminate, or the host debug engine does not return a reply.
This problem was caused by the terminate operation running on the UI thread, blocking the UI until the engine returns. The terminate operation will no longer run on the UI thread. The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with IBM Rational Developer for System z V18.104.22.168 Fix Pack which is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=2294&uid=swg27006335
