OpenCalledProgramAction.run(OpenCalledProgramAction.java:180) ...........
NPE occurs in the COBOL editor for a file in a local project when highlighting the member of a CALL statement and attempting to open it via right-mouse-click->Open File.
When the file being edited is part of a local project, a check is made to determine whether the resource is part of a z/OS project - if so, remote information is required. In this case, the code incorrectly determined the resource to be part of a z/OS project, which resulted in the NPE. The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with IBM Rational Developer for z Systems V188.8.131.52 Fix Pack which is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=2294&uid=swg27006335
