Error description

  • I am having ports that have a reference to a class and at the
class several ports are available. The ports of the objects are
connected via links. Now I would like to move a port to a new
class. This is working fine in the model tree via drag & drop.
But then the link is no longer valid and is not shown in the
diagram. So is there anyway I can move not only the port , but
also the link to the new object.

Existing behavior: When the port is moved from one class to
other class , then link is not updated for the port. As a result
it is not visible in the diagram.
If you want to make the link with new object you need to do it
    manually.

Concern: When the port is moved from one class to another class
, then the port is referenced to the new class. But one end of
the link is still pointing to the old object which is not
correct as the port no longer belongs to that class.
Hence the link should be deleted from the port as this is not a
    valid link anymore.

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed by removing the link once one of its ports was moved so
the link is not valid anymore.
