Error description

  • IBM Rational Developer for System z - RDz - v9.1

You may see ICH408i error messages concerning STATVFS being
issued under the RDz Threadpool rather than under the userid.

IKJ56893I message may occur on disconnect because of the active
    single.logon directive in rsed.envvars

These symptoms can occur when a user is forcibly disconnected
    from RDz 9.1

You may see the following message in the RSE Daemon joblog:
+FEK210I : <userid> was disconnected forcibly because of the
       active single.logon directive.

The user may get the message that a MVS dataset
<rsedstc>.RDZ.ID.<id> cannot be created under the RSED's STC
id instead of the actual userid.

This is the same problem as reported in APAR PI70554 for
    IBM zOS Explorer v3.0

Local fix

  • Remove the following rsed.envvars environment variable option:
       -DISPF_OPTS=&SESSION=SPAWN

01.When a user session is disconnected by the single.logon
directive in rsed.envvars, the output indicating the wrong
user of ISPF gateway session should be seen in rsecomm.log

<Daemon User>.ISPF.VCMISPF.ID040280 to the VCMTEMP DD
<Daemon user> is the user id name by which RSE
server(daemon) is running. That should be the user who is
logging on and being disconnected. If the daemon user does
not have permission to access the user log directory, syslog
messages are output during the forcible disconnect operation
