Error description

• In Rational Developer for System z - RDz - v9.5.1.1, the
  following error is raised when generating a zUnit testcase for a
  program having a large data item number (WORKING-STORAGE
  SECTION):
  
  com.ibm.etools.zunit.exception.ZUnitException: CRRZT0041E The
  model could not be read from
  L/zUnitTempProject/source/P60630B.cbl, exception
  [java.lang.IllegalArgumentException].
      at

  COBOL Importer shows the following error:
  
  002417  IGYSC5201-U   Internal compiler error code "XMI element
  > 32K"
                        occurred.
  

Local fix

• There is no known workaround at this time except than to reduce
  the number of data item in the source program if possible.

Problem conclusion

• COBOL importer is fixed to generate a large COBOL file.
  
  The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
  IBM Rational Developer for z Systems V9.5.1.5 Fix Pack which
  is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
