Error description

  • Rational Developer for z Systems V9.5 client search windows will
    not present the user with the ability to scroll if the
    resolution makes the content larger than the available space.
    This in fact affects most all of the search dialogs in the
    search view, RDz dialogs as well as the standard Eclipse
    dialogs.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The Remote z/OS Search and Remote z/OS File Search pages didn't
    have scroll bar components since the Eclipse Search window
    didn't provide scroll bar components for each search page tab
    while the other Eclipse windows such as preference supported
    them.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The RDz client was fixed to support scroll bar components in the
     RDz search pages.
    
    The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
    IBM Rational Developer for z Systems V9.5.1.3 Fix Pack which
    is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
